Der Wind hat sich gedreht: nein zu religiösem Terror und autoritärer Gewalt. Solidarität mit dem kurdischen Rojava!
Es ist Zeit zu handeln!
Wann, wenn nicht jetzt: Lassen wir unsere Solidarität mit Rojava und dem kurdischen Befreiungskampf im Irak praktisch werden - gegen den Terror der IS und für die sofortige Aufhebung des PKK-Verbots, das die kurdische Bevölkerung und ihre Organisationen bis heute in Europa kriminalisiert.*
In den letzten Tagen haben die kurdischen KämpferInnen der Selbstverteidigungseinheiten der YPG aus Rojava (Westkurdistan/Syrien) und der HPG (Guerilla der PKK, Arbeiterpartei Kurdistans in Nordkurdistan/Türkei) gemeinsam in Südkurdistan/Irak einen humanitären Korridor zur Rettung der yezidischen KurdInnen geschaffen. Sie konnten zehntausende Menschen vor der Ermordung oder dem Tod durch Verdursten retten. Einen besonderen Anteil an diesem Erfolg haben die Fraueneinheiten der YPG und HPG. Diese haben in den letzten Tagen gemeinsam mit den Peschmergas aus Südkurdistan eine kurdische Einheitsfront gebildet und konnten u.a. das Flüchtlingslager Maxmur verteidigen und einige Dörfer und Städte vom IS-Terror befreien.
Der Befreiungskampf in den kurdisch besiedelten Gebieten der Türkei, Syriens und des Irak ist eine Alternative zu den reaktionären Mächten der Region und zugleich zur imperialen Krisenpolitik des globalen Kapitalismus. Er ist eine Alternative zugleich für KurdInnen und AraberInnen, für MuslimInnen, ChristInnen, YezidInnen, AlevitInnen, AramäerInnen: für alle, die der Faschismus des „Islamischen Staats“ (IS) angreift und vernichten will!
Die Kämpfe der KurdInnen können aber auch für uns, für die Linke und die sozialen Bewegungen in Europa, zum Bezugspunkt werden. Uns haben die Massaker in Syrien und im Irak, uns hat die Situation in Israel und Palästina die Sprache verschlagen. Wir haben zu lange geschwiegen. Höchste Zeit, sich zu bewegen, aufeinander zuzugehen, miteinander zu reden, gemeinsam zu handeln. Nehmen wir die kurdische Herausforderung, nehmen wir die kurdische Einladung an, treffen wir uns auf ihren Demonstrationen und Versammlungen hier in unseren Städten, lassen wir die Lähmung hinter uns.
Es geht dabei nicht (nur) um etwas, was anderswo geschieht. CDU/CSU, FDP, SPD und Grüne, deutscher Staat und deutsches Kapital: seit Jahrzehnten lieferten sie alle der türkischen Armee die Waffen zur blutigen Unterdrückung der KurdInnen im türkischen Staat. Sie alle unterstützten und unterstützen weiter Folterstaaten wie Saudi-Arabien oder Katar, die gemeinsam mit der Türkei die IS erst stark gemacht haben: als Kettenhunde gegen das kurdische Autonomieprojekt in Rojava wie gegen die syrische Demokratiebewegung - ohne den Mut der syrischen Revolutionär_innen, ohne ihre Unerschrockenheit in Damaskus, Homs und Daraa, ohne die Wucht der Freiheitsrevolte im syrischen Zentrum gäbe es heute auch keine kurdische Autonomie in Rojava. Zum Handeln gezwungen und in der Absicht, verlorene Kontrolle zurückzugewinnen, versuchen die westlichen Staaten jetzt, durch einseitige Unterstützung der Barzani-Regierung in Erbil „gute“ KurdInnen von „bösen“ KurdInnen zu trennen.
Den Widerstand gegen diese Politik können wir nicht den KurdInnen überlassen: so wenig, wie wir sie im Widerstand gegen den IS-Terror allein lassen wollen. Wir alle sind gefragt. Die Solidarität, die Zusammenarbeit und Gemeinsamkeit ist gefragt, die wir als Anti-G8-Bündnis von Heiligendamm eingeübt haben, die Gemeinsamkeit, die wir im Bündnis Dresden Nazifrei, in der Mobilisierung gegen den Nato-Gipfel in Straßburg, bei Castor Schottern und im Blockupy-Bündnis zu bewähren wussten. Gefragt und herausgefordert ist, was wir als „Kommune von Europa“ immerhin zu denken versuchen.
Ja, unsere Kräfte reichen gegen den Terror in Syrien und im Irak so wenig aus wie gegen das Krisenregime der Troika in Südeuropa oder den jahrzehntelangen Abbau der demokratischen und sozialen Rechte auch hier. Aber Anfang ist immer: das ist es, was uns die KurdInnen zeigen. Und: Jeder Anfang ist konkret. Für heute heißt das:
Folgen wir den Einladungen der kurdischen GenossInnen, gehen wir mit ihnen auf die Straße, nehmen wir an ihren Versammlungen teil! Zum Beispiel bei den bundesweiten Antikriegsdemos am 1. September.
Weg mit dem PKK-Verbot! Schluss mit der Drangsalierung und Kriminalisierung kurdischer Jugendlicher in Deutschland! Keine weiteren Waffenlieferungen: nicht nach Saudi-Arabien, nicht in die Türkei. Fangen wir damit an, jetzt.

* Im November 1993 wurden nach einer beispiellosen Hetzkampagne gegen die kurdische Bevölkerung in der BRD die PKK und alle ihr nahestehenden Organisationen als „Terrororganisation“ verboten. Es folgte eine Welle von Durchsuchungen und Verhaftungen. Durch öffentliche Hetze gegen Kurd_innen wurde ein Klima von Repression und Angst geschaffen, das von der simplen Gleichung bestimmt war: „Kurd_innen = PKK = Terrorist_innen“. In Hannover wurde am 30. Juli 1994 der jugendliche Kurde Halim Dener von einem deutschen Polizisten erschossen, weil er PKK-Plakate geklebt hatte. Die Repression trifft bis heute kurdische Kulturvereine und öffentliche Strukturen der kurdischen Bewegung, insbesondere aber kurdische Jugendliche und Aktivist_innen, die sie sich mit der Bewegung identifizieren und politisch engagieren.

It’s time to act
The tide has turned: No to religious terror and authoritarian violence. Solidarity with the people of Rojava
When, if not now: Let our solidarity with Rojava and the Kurdish liberation movement in Iraq become practical – against the terror of IS and in favor of the immediate revocation of the ban on PKK, set up and used to criminalize Kurdish people and their organizations in Europe until today.*
During the last few days the fighters of the Kurdish self-defense units YPG from Rojava (western Kurdistan/Syria) and HPG (PKK’s guerilla forces in northern Kurdistan/Turkey) have opened a humanitarian corridor to save the Kurdish Yazidi. They succeeded in saving tens of thousands of people from being murdered and dying of thirst. The women’s units of YPJ and YJA-STAR made a major contribution to this success. During these last few days the named units formed a Kurdish front of unity with peshmerga fighters from southern Kurdistan, and by doing so enabled themselves among other things to defend the refugee camp Maxmur and to liberate several villages and cities from the terror spread by IS.
The struggle of liberation in the Kurdish regions of Turkey, Syria, Iran and Iraq is an alternative to the reactionary powers in the region and at the same time an alternative to the imperial politics of crisis run by global capitalism. It is an alternative for Kurds and Arabs, for Muslims, Christians, Yazidis, Alevits, Arameans: for everyone whom the fascist “Islamic State” (IS) attacks and tries to annihilate. But the Kurdish struggle can be a point of reference also to us leftist and social movements in Europe. Staring with wide eyes at the massacres in Syria and Iraq, the situation in Israel and Palestine, we were unable to speak out. We have been silent for too long. It’s time to move, to approach one another, to talk with each other, to act together. Let’s accept the Kurdish challenge, let’s accept the Kurdish invitation, let us meet at their marches and rallies in our cities, let’s move on and break this political deadlock!
This is not (only) about things happening elsewhere. CDU/CSU, FDP, SPD and the Green Party, the German state and German capital: for decades they have been shipping arms to the Turkish army, supplying them with the means of bloody repression of Kurds living on grounds belonging to the Turkish state. They all have supported and are still supporting states that torture, like Saudi-Arabia or Qatar that have empowered IS together with Turkey to use them as watch dogs against the Kurdish autonomous project in Rojava and against the Syrian movement for democracy – without the courage of the Syrian revolutionaries, their bravery in Damascus, Homs and Dara’a, without the power of the revolt for freedom in the Syrian center, Kurdish autonomy in Rojava would not exist. Forced to act and intent on regaining control, western states now are trying to divide “good” from “bad” Kurds by supporting only those connected with the Barzani administration in Erbil.
We cannot leave resistance against all this to the Kurds, just as we cannot abandon them in their fight against the terror spread by IS. This is up to us all. The solidarity, cooperation and commonalities we have practiced in Heiligendamm as a coalition against G8, and that we kept up within the alliance Dresden Nazifrei, in mobilizing against the NATO-summit in Strasbourg, with Castor Schottern and within Blockupy are in demand now. In demand and challenged is everything we are at least trying to exercise in mind as “The Commune of Europe”. Yes – we are not strong enough to cope with the terror in Syria and Iraq, just as we are not strong enough to end the Troika-regime in southern Europe or the degradation of democracy and social rights that has been going on for decades all around us. But beginnings are all along: the Kurds are pointing this out to us right now. And: every beginning is specific. This means right now:
Let’s accept the invitation of our Kurdish comrades, let’s hit the streets together, let’s participate in their rallies! Say, at the nationwide anti-war-rallies on September 1st. End the ban on PKK! Stop the bullying and criminalization of Kurdish teenagers in Germany! No more shipments of arms: not so Saudi-Arabia, not to Turkey. Let’s get started, now.Towards a radical societal left! This ban was followed by a wave of searches and arrests. Rabble-rousing against Kurds created a climate of repression and fear dominated by a very simple equation: “Kurd = PKK = terrorist”. On July 30, 1994, 16-year-old Kurd Halim Dener was killed by German policemen for putting up posters in favor of PKK. Until this very day Kurdish cultural associations and public structures of the Kurdish movement, but especially Kurdish youth and activist who identify with the movement and engage in politics are being repressed.

Dinci teröre ve otoriter şiddete hayır! Rojava ve güney Kürdistan’la dayanışma için eyleme geçme zamanı.
Şimdi değil ise ne zaman? Rojava ve güney Kürdistan’da IŞİD’in vahşetine karşı direnen YPG/HPG güçleriyle dayanışmayı yükseltelim. Avrupa’da PKK yasağının kalkması için acil eyleme geçmeliyiz.
Son haftalarda PKK’nin YPG ve HPG’li savunma güçleri, ezidi kürtlerin güvenli geçişini sağlamak için bir koridor açtılar. Böylece onbinlerce insanı katliamdan yada susuz kalıp ölmekten kurtardılar. Ezidi kürtlerin yanısıra binlerce türkmen ve şii arapın da bu koridordan geçmesi sağlandı Bu büyük başarıda YPJ ve YJA-Star’lı kadın savaşçıların büyük payı var.
Bunun yanısıra, PKK’nin savunma güçleri ile güney Kürdistan’da ki peschmerge ortak bir savunma cephesi oluşturdular. Maxmur kampı yanısıra Şengal ve kimi yerleşim yerleri IŞİD çetelerinin teröründen kurtarıldı. Kürt özgürlük hareketi, Kürdistan‘nın dört parçasında yani Türkiye, Suriye, İran ve İrak’da, bölgesel gerici güçlere ve küresel kapitalizmin emperyal kriz siyasetine karşı tek alternatif olduğunu güçlü bir biçimde kanıtladı. IŞİD faşizminin saldırdığı kürtler, ezidi kürtler, şii türkmen ve araplar, müslümanlar, hristiyanlar, aleviler ve asuri- keldanilerin varlığının güvencesini sağlayan tek alternatif demokratik özerkliktir.
Kürt özgürlük hareketi Avrupa solu ve sosyal hareketler için de bir çekim merkezi olmalı. Şimdiye kadar Suriye, Irak ve Filistin’de ki katliamlara karşı etkili eylemlilikler geliştiremedik. Bu bizim eksikliğimiz.
Artık, bir an önce diyaloğu geliştirip, birlikte eyleme geçme zamanıdır. Kürt özgürlük hareketinin çağrılarına duyarlı olup, şehirlerimizde gerçekleşen yürüyüşlerde birlikte yürümeliyiz, toplantılara birlikte katılmalıyız. Artık rehavetten kurtulmalıyız.
Başka bir coğrafya da olup bitenler gibi bir anlayış bizim anlayışımız olamaz. Almanya’da ki düzen partileri (CDU/CSU, SPD,Yeşiller) sermaye ve devlet işbirliğinin sonucu, savaşlar ve katliamlar gerçekleşiyor. Onlarca yıl kürt halkını kıyımdan geçirmesi için türk devletine silah gönderiliyor. Türkiye yanısıra Suudi arabistan ve Katar gibi işkenceci ülkelere silah sevkiyatı ile IŞİD çakalları büyütülüp kürt halkının üzerine salındı. Amaçları; Suriye’de ki ayaklanmalarla birlikte başlayan ve gelişen Rojava devrimini yok etmek. Şu anda batılı ülkeler kaybettikleri bölgeyi yeniden ele geçirebilmek için Ortadoğu’da kirli oyunları devreye koydular. Fakat gelişme umdukları gibi olmadı. Şimdi ise „kürtlere yardım“ adı altında
sadece Barzani iktidarını güçlendirip sözüm ona „iyi kürtleri kötü kürtlerden“ ayırdetmek istiyorlar.
IŞİD terörüne karşı kürtler ile nasıl dayanışma içinde olmak zorundaysak, uluslararası güçlere karşı direniş de, kürt halkından önce bizim görevimiz olmalı. Dayanışma ve birlikte mücadele asıl simdi gerekli. Anti G8, anti Nato anti Atom ve anti Nazi hareketini ve Blockupy direnişini nasıl örgütlediysek, kürt özgürlük hareketiyle dayanışmayı örgütlemeliyiz. Avrupa solunun gelişimi buna bağlı. „Avrupa kömünü“ olarak bunun üzerinde yoğunlaşmalı ve başarmalıyız.
Avrupa’da ki gücümüz ortada. Sistemin, demokratik ve sosyal haklara saldırılarını geri püskürtemedik. Mevcut gücümüzle, Rojava ve güney Kürdistan’da ki gerici terörü durduramıyacağımız açık.
Fakat Kürt özgürlük hareketi bize şunu gösterdi ki; başlangıç zordur ama her başlangıç somut olmalı.
Bu şu demektir: Kürt yoldaşlarımızın çağrılarına kulak verelim. Sokak eylemlerine, toplantılarına var gücümüzle katılalım! Gelecek günlerde somut adımlar atmalıyız. Almanya çapında 1 Eylül dünya barış gününü, PKK yasağının kalkması ve Türkiye, Suudi arabistan, Katar’a silah sevkiyatının durdurulması için örgütlemeliyiz. Hemen şimdi başlayalım.
